Tsunami

Two years of design and development went into Tsunami before Michele Ezell and her partners, opened its doors in December of 1999. Since then, Michele, her husband Sean and partners Fred Nonato & Toon Nguyen have positioned Tsunami as a sometimes funky sometimes fancy always flavorful sushi joint.

Tsunami’s Lafayette (1999), Baton Rouge (2005) and New Orleans (2017) location all found homes in the center of art and culture in Downtown communities.  Tsunami's menu focuses on fresh seafood and diverse Asian dishes. Our menu has remained water cooler conversation with its Japanese and Eastern flare while marrying it to our southern roots.  Our talented chefs enjoy researching trends and emerging ingredients in order to bring new experiences to our customers. The menu offers standard sushi rolls, nigiri and sashimi and even some with a little South Louisiana enhancement. In addition to our sushi our mouth watering grilled fish, chicken and pork round out the menu sure to please all diners. We are edible art to marvel at.
